Who is eye-in?

I have 10+ years of experience in full-stack development, UI/UX, DevOps, and automation.

Ian with his brother Willy.
My brother and I post ski trip in Colorado.

I'm currently a Senior Software Engineer at thelab. Previously, I worked at Better, Carta, and Lululemon, developing scalable backend services and intuitive products. I've also contributed to open-source projects such as Microsoft's Visual Studio Code, Wikipedia for iOS and Supacode.

I studied mechanical engineering in college and have an interest in industrial design: how things work, how they feel, and how people use them.

Beyond work, I'm an avid runner and cyclist passionate about good design and performance, both in software and in life. This mindset has influenced projects like:

  • Ergmatic – An iOS app for power-based indoor cycling training.
  • iMessage2Spotify – An iOS Shortcut with 30,000+ downloads that automatically saves Spotify links from iMessages to a playlist.
